This book continues the nature series created by Carl Hunter for the Ozark Society Foundation with his popular field guides Wildflowers of Arkansas and Trees, Shrubs, & Vines of Arkansas.
It facilitates species identification by presenting detailed text entries alongside full-sized photographs. For the first time ever, all butterfly species in the state are described. The book includes many live photographs and shots of larvae, and its general information extends to butterfly gardening and prime butterfly locations. It features 264 species descriptions, 30 drawings, and 367 color photographs.
